PUFF PUFF (BOFROT)

Method

01. In a clean bowl, sieve all the dry ingredients with the exception of butter.

02. Mix everything together.

03. In a separate bowl, break the eggs into lukewarm water and whisk until fully combined.

04. Slowly add to the dry ingredients and keep mixing until well combined and form a ball with the dough.

05. Add butter to the dough and continue kneading to achieve a glossy, smooth and shiny dough.

06. Transfer the dough to a clean, floured surface and knead (always pushing the dough away from you) for about 5-10 minutes.

07. Divide the dough and roll into balls.

08. Spread the balls on a clean floured tray and brush surface with FRYTOL 100% pure vegetable oil.

09. Cover with a clean cloth and leave it to rise in a warm place for an hour or two.

10. Once the dough balls have risen to twice their size, pour FRYTOL 100% pure vegetable oil into a frying pan and place on a medium heat.

11. Add the doughnuts to the oil and constantly turn the doughnuts for an even cook.

12. Use a slotted ladle and remove the doughnuts into a colander when golden brown.

02. 4 cups All-purpose flour

03. 1 cup Sugar

04. 1 tsp Nutmeg

05. 1 1/4 tsp Salt

06. 3/4 cup Water

07. 1 tbsp Sugar

08. 2 tsp Yeast

09. 1 cup Warm water
