AGBELI KAKLO (CASSAVA CROQUETTES)

Method

01. After washing and peeling the cassava, cut it in half lengthwise to remove the stalky thread.

02. Finely grate the cassava.

03. Using a muslin cloth, squeeze out all of the starch from the grated cassava.

04. Allow to air-dry for a few minutes on a pan (this step is optional).

05. In a mixing bowl, combine the dried cassava, onion, chopped green chilies, and salt.

06. Mold into balls.

07. Deep fry in FRYTOL 100% pure vegetable oil until golden brown.

08. Serve the Agbeli Kaklo with dried coconuts.

02. 1 Medium cassava tubers

03. 1 onion (medium size)

04. Green chilies, chopped

05. Add salt to taste

06. 1 dried coconut, sliced finely
